Ms.Miho Namba

Ms.Miho graduated from California Institute of Integral Studies where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary/Multiple Studies. She received her AMI Assistants to Infancy Diploma (0-3) from Montessori Northwest in 2015. She has been teaching in Nido and Toddler classrooms since 2014. She is a certified Positive Discipline Educator, Positive Discipline Parent Educator, and Infant Massage Therapist. In 2023, she received an AMI Primary (3-6) Orientation Certificate from SIMS.
She started Cosmos Montessori after she had her son in January 2021 in the Castro neighborhood. Since she opened Cosmos, the community has served more than 30 families all over the world.
Ms.Miho enjoys learning new languages, reading, cooking with her family, and traveling to different countries.

Ms.Rima Miyagawa

Ms.Rima Miyagawa graduated from Santa Clara University with a master's in Counseling Psychology and Marriage and Family Therapy. She is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and a certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator.
She has been working with young children not only as a mental health counselor for the past several years but also worked as a daycare/preschool assistant teacher at several schools including Montessori school, nanny, and now a mother of two girls. She enjoys being with children and providing the environment that can support them to learn and feel confident in themselves and their capabilities. With her daughters, she loves baking some healthy snacks and tasting together. And if there is spare time, she loves working out, doing anti-gravity yoga, and traveling.
Mr.Alejandro Alvarenga

Mr.Ale was born and raised in El Salvador. After his son’s birth, he became more interested in early childhood education, especially the Montessori method. He left his previous career to become a Montessori teacher and joined Cosmos in 2022. He obtains an AMI A to I Orientation course certificate.
He loves playing chess, reading books, painting, and playing soccer with his son.
